The NSW heritage plate 428 sold for over $80,000 at a Shannons auction in 2006.
The owner appears to have expensive taste in cars, which the plate being spotted on numerous cars over the years including a Mercedes SL63 AMG, Bentley Continental GT and a McLaren 12c.
