Twenty NSW heritage number plates were offered at this auction, with all plates selling on the night.
The highest priced plate was the 3-digit 207 which sold for $97,000. It was closely followed by two very similar plates, 206 and 210 which sold for $95,000 and $93,000 respectively.
Other notable plates includes 45678 and 56789. Unlike other heritage plates which feature a black base, these featured a blue base and a pink base.
Proceeds from the blue 45678 plate went to the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia, whilst proceeds from the pink 56789 plate went to The McGrath Foundation.
