ACT heritage number plate 1.

You may think that Canberra’s number one plate would be on the Prime Minister’s car, but it’s actually in private hands.

The plate was reportedly sold sometime prior to 2001 for $66,000.  Today that figure probably seems very cheap for a number that would be worth well over a million in many other states.
