When it comes to three digit heritage number plates, there are some which are a lot more valuable than others.
Some of the most desirable are those with three repeating characters.
Not only are they pleasing to the eye, but there are also just nine such plates, making them just as rare as a single digit plate.
Values are nowhere near that of single digit plates of course, but they are still carry a hefty premium over normal three digit plates.

A recent search of the VicRoads database (15 May 2014) shows that 777 is not currently attached to a vehicle.
